Founded in 2005, Raise Your Standards is a program offered by the W.I.N. Foundation. This preventative program is designed to educate college age women about responsible drinking (alcohol awareness) and responsible dating. The program was developed for Miller Coors because of the growing concern of alcohol related abuse cases in college campuses.
The goal of this program is to educate college age women about the dangers of alcohol over consumption, alcohol abuse, safety and prevention.
Presented to over 15,000 students and colleges across the nation (see list) Raise Your Standards is a 45 minute presentation that sends a timely message of self-responsibility, in a fashion forward way.
Why an event like Raise?
ESPN recently reported that 14 – 20% of all women will experience a rape.
ESPN reported that 54% of college age women have been the victim of some kind of sexual abuse.
And ESPN reported that 15% of men admitted to committing rape.
